Whip up and sample a new seasonal craft cocktail with us each week with so you're super informed when choosing your signature drink. 'Cause someone's gotta do it.
Classic Margarita
2 ounces blanco tequila
juice of 1 lime
1/2 ounce triple sec
salt for rim
lime wedge for garnish
For each drink: Salt the rim of the glass of your choosing: rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then press the rim onto a small plate covered in a thin layer of salt. Add the ice, tequila, lime juice and triple sec to a cocktail shaker and shake. Pour the contents (ice included) into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Our thoughts: Back before all the rain this week, the hot sunny weather had us in a margarita mood, so we had no choice but to whip some up classic margaritas on the rocks. This was our first go at making margaritas from scratch - they were suprisingly simple and didn't disappoint. Grab some good tequila and have at it. But beware - these babies are strong. Not to worry though - experiment with mixing in other fruits (especially citrus) to cut down on the alcohol a bit or try sweetening it up with a bit of simple syrup. 🍊🍋
