Whip up and sample a new seasonal craft cocktail with us each week with so you're super informed when choosing your signature drink. 'Cause someone's gotta do it. 

Peach Gin Fizz

Via Freutcake

2 white peaches, sliced (+ a few extra slices for garnish)

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 ounce gin

pinch superfine sugar

club soda

blueberries for garnish

Dissolve the sugar into water with peaches in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then let simmer 5 minutes, until peaches are softened. Reduce heat to low and let simmer until liquid is reduced by half, then remove from heat. Once cooled, strain through a fine sieve = peach simple syrup. While brainstorming some fab uses for those leftover sugary peaches: Pour 3tbsp of the simple syrup in a glass, add gin and superfine sugar, then mix. Top with club soda and spice it up with a few blueberries and a peach slice or two.

Our thoughts: We're major fans of multitasking & working smarter, so this week we wanted to test something that could make an appearance at our holiday celebrations this weekend. These Peach Gin Fizzes are fresh and light enough for brunch or dinner (or both...). It might seem a little early for peaches, but they're in season in Florida, or sub in frozen peaches if in a bind. 🍑
