signature cocktail #tastetest
Whip up and sample a new seasonal craft cocktail with us each week with so you're super informed when choosing your signature drink. 'Cause someone's gotta do it.
Bee's Knees Cocktail
2 ounces gin
1 tablespoon honey syrup
1.5 ounces fresh lemon juice
lemon twist for garnish
For the honey syrup, mix equal parts honey and warm water. Add the gin, honey syrup and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Our thoughts: The Bee's Knees has been around since the Prohibition era (roaring 20's theme anyone!?) and was originally crafted to make bathtub gin taste, well, less bathtubby. Trust us when we tell you it's way better with good gin. A bit of advice - this is a strong drink, so know your audience if you're considering it as a signature cocktail, and serve it up in a coupe glass for an extra touch of class. 🐝

Want to give back while planning your wedding? We'll feature a new organization here each week to help you #spreadthelove while celebrating yours.
We recently discovered Female-founded jewelery brand MiaDonna. For anyone jewelry shopping, their jewelry is a great way to #spreadthelove. They offer exclusively lab-grown diamonds, gemstones and jewelry that are guaranteed conflict-free. MiaDonna donates at least 10% of their profits to rebuild and repair the land and lives damaged by the conflict-mining industry, and most recently, ebola. And they plant a tree for every order to offset their carbon footprint. Also, their jewelry is lovely and we're fans of their home try-on program.
