Via Serious Eats
2 oz gin
1 ounce lemon juice (fresh)
2 teaspoons sugar
Champagne or sparkling wine
Lemon twist and cocktail cherry for garnish
Fill cocktail shaker with ice, add the gin, lemon juice, and sugar, then shake for about 15 seconds. Top with champagne, stir gently, and garnish with lemon twist and cocktail cherry.
