I’ve looked forward to this Philadelphia Water Works Wedding with Cescaphe Events for so long! I have known Tiffany for over six years. We first met through one of our past brides and she became my fabulous hairdresser. She’s worked with us on style shoots and I’ve done various photo shoots for her portfolio and salon. I was so thrilled when she opened her own salon, House of Clarity in Philadelphia.
I remember sitting in her chair at the old salon where she worked. And she told me about this new guy she recently met. He sent her flowers for Valentine’s Day and she got all smiley when talking about him. Over the years I heard all about them and how their love was growing. She always said one day when she got married she would definitely hire me to take their wedding photos. This past June her and Omar had an absolutely gorgeous wedding at the Water Works in Philadelphia with Cescaphe Events.
They kept their wedding small and simple. Omar got ready at the Logan and met up with us at the Waterworks where Tiffany got ready in the bridal suite. Of course her House of Clarity team did an amazing job. Carolyn did her hair and Ashley did her makeup. And that dress, WOW!!! Her dress was absolutely amazing. It was completely made of lace.
Even though it was super hot out we didn’t let the heat bother us (well too much lol!!). We just looked for shade whenever possible. The couple had their first look along the banks of the Schuylkill River in a pretty private area along the back of the Water Works. So few people normally go down there. So we knew it would be the perfect location on this hot and sunny day.
And the couple kept the wedding party very small. Each had their sister and they both looked stunning as well. It was easy moving around with such a small group. We were thankful since it was so hot out.
After they signed the Katubah, they had their ceremony in the Grand Pavillion. OMG, so pretty!! Their Chuppah, decorated by Beautiful Blooms, was stunning and there was a wonderful breeze outside. One of the nice things about Cescaphe Events is their hour and half long cocktail time. We were able to finish up with family photos and get some stunning shots of a couple on the rocks overlooking the back of the Art Museum. We were even able to get some awesome drone footage and photos. But to us it’s super important to get our couples to their own party. So as much as we could’ve been out there all day we wanted to make sure Tiffany and Omar enjoyed time with your guests at their cocktail hour.
Once the reception started it was nonstop dancing. And Tiffany changed into a gorgeous white pantsuit in time to dance with her father. The pantsuit was such perfect outfit change and so different! Everybody had a blast at the reception. Of course a highlight was the pizza truck at the end of the night. Nomad Pizza is awesome, you should definitely check them out! It was fantastic leaving the wedding with a couple slices. We are always up for hours downloading and backing up all our files when we get home, so that helped!
We’re so thrilled to capture this beautiful wedding. And we are so happy for Tiffany and Omar. We wish them years of love together!
