One of the most amazing Philly wedding venues is the Free Library of Philadelphia. We were so excited to capture all the photos and video for Val and Dillon’s super perfect wedding!! This super adorable couple met when they were both in vet school. So we share in our love for animals. We found we had lots in common and bonded over that she is from Columbus, Ohio. I grew up not far from there in Granville, Ohio. And we both still have family there. Also, Dillon’s mom is a photographer so he’s grown up with a love and appreciation for beautiful imagery. We had all been watching the progress of the construction in front the Free Library prior to their wedding there. It was so exciting that just a couple weeks before their wedding everything was cleared out and you could finally see how beautiful the front of the library had become. And we could’ve asked for better day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue with lots a little fluffy clouds. Also the humidity was lower than it normally is in July which is always good. Don’t get me wrong, it was still hot out lol!. The couple got ready at the new Logan hotel. And then we did the couples first look at the side area of the Rodin Museum. This area has so many great spots to do photos in so we couldn’t pass it up. First we spend some time with the couple. Then the bridal party met up with us for some more beautiful and fun photos. We are able to do a quick reveal with Val and her father on the way back to the library, which was perfect. The whole wedding party stood in front of Val and then separated out so her dad could have a cute reveal moment. We love when we can capture real authentic moments like that. The ceremony was so beautiful thanks to the incredible floral archway made by Wild Stems. Wild Stems really knocked this wedding out of the park. Everything was spectacular and beautiful. The views from the rooftop where the couples’ reception was are of the best views in all of Philadelphia. It’s even more special because Val and Dillon could see their apartment from where we were taking photos. I think that is so cool that they live basically across the street. And you could not ask for a more beautiful evening. The temperatures were perfect and the sky a beautiful blue. And put everything together by Blue Lake Catering was so seamless. We even used the floral archway at the BG booth for a special look. I love this, it has to be my favorite photo booth set up thanks to the gorgeous flowers. We loved every moment of capturing this beautiful wedding at a Free Library of Philadelphia. And you can really tell from the photos that everyone had a blast.
