Content & Social Media Intern
Cleveland, OH / Remote
Part-Time
As Flutter Social’s Content & Social Media Intern, you have a passion for social events and storytelling. You will work closely with our Founders to represent Flutter Social’s voice and style in online articles and business profiles, across social media channels, in our weekly newsletters, and within content distributed throughout the network of our Flutter Social community. We are seeking a team member who has a strong, fun and sophisticated writing style, is organized with excellent attention to detail, and has a clean design aesthetic. What you'll do:
Assist in development of high-level content strategy
Write website copy that is optimized for search engines based on keyword research and SEO best practices
Curate, research, design and write blog articles and press releases
Identify opportunities for content promotion and content partnerships with various publishers, brands and blogs online
Develop email newsletter copy
Create effective, engaging graphics
Create and implement email marketing campaigns
Manage Social Media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter
Prepare analytical reports to understand effectiveness of various marketing campaigns
Contribute to a database of industry resources, sites and organizations including talent, blogs, and more
Assist Flutter Social business members in setting up their profiles
What we're looking for:
You are currently pursuing a BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a relevant field
You have experience with SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress, and basic HTML/CSS editing
You have an eye for photography, design, video, and creating visually appealing content
You are fun, witty, creative and a self-starter with strong organization and time management skills
You understand the importance of communication and maintaining transparency within a collaborative environment
You have interest in and knowledge of the digital media industry
Experience building online brands is a plus (personal or professional)
Part-Time, 3-Month Paid Internship in Cleveland, OH --- opportunity may be extended into the Fall for the right candidate
